As Bruna said, It depends on what are you lookin for. But, personally, i have to suggest the Itacaré beach, in Bahia, that is one of the most beautful places I've ever been. It's easy to get some pics of It at the google images site. If you are looking for the nightlife, don't exitate to planning a visit to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Depends on what you're looking for.
If you like beaches, choose somewhere in the Northest, it has lots of beautiful beaches all over the coast. If want and can spend more money, try Fernando de Noronha. You can find some good beaches in the South too, but the water is much colder.
If you like to be in touch with the natural wonders, you have lots of place to choose, as Amazon, Pantanal, Chapada Diamantina, Foz do Iguaçu, etc etc.
But if you like big cities, def choose Sao Paulo, it's like New York, this city doesn't stop, doesn't sleep, you'll have places to go all day and night.

Ilha Grande is a really relaxed place to stay for a few days, you can get there by boat from Rio de Janeiro or Angra dos Reis.

Recife on the east corner of Brazil. Nice weather, family friendly, enough stuff to do and great beaches. If you are just a beach lover, go down to Porto de Galinhas, the most beautiful beaches of Brazil. Hot, hot, HOT destination!

Rio - do both Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redeemer (at sunset is just awesome), Igauzu Falls - do a boat trip into the falls, also walk behind them.Of course you also need to drink fresh coconut juice from the shell on the Coppacabana beach!

I've only been to Igauzu Falls in Brazil, but they are spectacular. The Brazil side offers the best panoramic view of all the falls, whearas the Argentina side is great for a close up view.

I love Salvador, really cool town and also in Bahia, Lencois is a funky town close to the Chapada Diamantina national park. I also really love the Pantanal. They always told me if you want to see animals go to the Pantanal, if you want to see trees go to the Amazon! Also Ouro Preto in Minas Gerais is a really cool old town. Awesome architecture.

you have to go up the Sugar loaf when you are in Rio, it gives you amazing views.
iguazu falls are spectacular and a must.
If you go near Bonito there is a great place were you can go snorkling in the clearest river and there are lots of different fish
