Kangaroo Island is amazing. Glenelg in summertime is one of the best places in Australia, very underrated. Also check out the wine in the Barossa and McLaren Vale.

I would say Kangaroo Island, not that many tourists and you can get up close and personal with the kangaroos there.

Try the eden valley as well as the barossa, its beautiful and has fantastic wines and places to eat. Also, catch the tram down to Glenelg - its quintessentially Adelaide. Magil estate is a great place to eat with a view although it can be pricey.

Go to adeliade Hills, not far from the city. There are a few little sanctuarys for wildlife. And like the name says, hills, and beautiful nature.
