Any Etap hotel is. you can self check in with credit cards

It all depends on the rules of each particular hostel. Hostelworld.com is a good source but also try www.bootsnall.com; it's a good place to post specific questions about hostels and any other travel related question. The info you can get from there is about as up-to-date as you can find.

as far as im aware the hostel by the hilton is open that late, but of you have a look on hostelworld.com or hostelbookers.com they will be able to tell you whether there are hostels open at 3am and also where has beds free and you can book a bed for a 10% cancellation fee on both

yes, I agree, stay away from hostels, they set the curfew at around 10 pm!!
