Can anyone suggest where its best to go skiing in Sweden? Somewhere close to Stockholm, affordable, and suitable for beginners.

Romme isnt to far away. I am not sure about how big the system is but I know they have a few slopes and that it is useful for beginners.

Skiing is unfortunately not so affordable in Sweden, but good for beginners, not too far from stockholm and a fairly big system is Sälen. 400 km from Stockholm and skiiable from 1 december to most often 1 may!

Google: Sälen, its abig skiing resort with many different slopes for begginers to pro's ;)

Anywhere at the moment ! Langrend is fine. Look at the Internet for cheap accomodation - no problem this time of the year.
