What is the best excursions you dream to do during your holiday at Sharm?

i love egypt and have been 3 times to luxor and once to cairo. the people are amazing and so friendly and welcoming - have made some great friends that once when we were over we were invited to a wedding - amazing experience!!! the sites are out of this world especially karnak temple and valley of the kings. fellucca rides on the nile are a must as are mounting and riding a camel around the pyramids at giza. the jewellery to buy is beautiful and haggling is fun especially in the markets. would highly recommend egypt to anyone. also the stars in luxor are simply amazing - my papa used to tell my granny about them and to see them myself with my granny was one of the best experiences of my life.

Oh! well.. my visit to Egypt this month was memorable. It was safe and the people were great everywhere I went. Inspite of everyone telling me it isn't a safe country to travel to, I had the safest trip I could have expected. Cairo-Aswan-Idfu-Luxor-Cairo-Sharm. Could have been more exciting...

This is 1 of my favourite countries! I love the food (I'm humus fun), and waterpipe with local men, and taola (I don't know how do you spell that game which is similar to backgammon). And that sea! With corals, and blue water..snorkeling there was a perfect day for me! (Now I learn scubadiving to go back :o) And I love people. Everywhere they were kind and help us, so I coulnd't be bored. LOL

Yes, i will go to Egipt and Lebanon next year.

I've been to Egypt twice and I'd go once more. You can find everything; sea resorts, desert, rich and interesting culture. Besides, the cruise in the Nile is marvelous.

Sharm el-Sheikh is not real Egypt. For travellers it is just a tourist trap.. For others just an investment in ugly hotels and fake beaches..
