Samoa is generally not terribly expensive to stay at but if you want a romantic spot for a honeymoon then the accommodations are not going to be at the cheap end unless your idea of romance is roughing it. It is a very small place. You can hire a car and drive on every road on the main island in a day. Two if you want to stop and enjoy everything.

I dont know where you are starting from but Moreton Island is nice just off the coast of Australia (2 hr by ferry). The resort has dolphin feeding every night and its called Tangalooma. Rather than book directly try wotif.com and then search on moreton bay and islands for rates about half the usual price at the resorts website.

If you want to go to samoa - get inot apia then get a local tour bus that loops around the island Its real cheap and you can buy a pass that you can get on and off for a week Get around to lalomanu Nice little beach with fales (huts) right on beach - very cheap for night and meals Also recommend going to sliding rocks - taxi from apia

I know just the place. One hour south of Fiji (a cheap and very romantic flight from Nandi airport) is the island of kandavu. From the airstrip you take a boat (there are no roads) to a resort called matava. I am a travel journalist so I've seen a lot of the world, but the secluded beach they showed me that they had used for weddings was nothing short of paradise. Hope this helps!

It really depends where you're flying from, that might be the major cost. But Fiji and Rarotonga (part of the cook islands) are beautiful and can be really cheap. Bali is also a great place that can be done on a budget.
