Does somebody know a nice, not to expensive hotel in mumbai?

Try to find sth at couchsurfing.com - you can stay at one's house for free and have much better time than alone in a hotel :)

Anjali Inn is awesome, a little far from Colaba but it's like a home away from home here :)

I stayed at the west end hotel, it's near the churchgate trainstation...was nice and not to expensive...it's right opposit of the bombay hospital

Try the Hotel Residency at Fort or the YWCA International Center at Colaba. These two places are some of the best budget hotels in downtown area close to all the sightseeing sites and shopping areas as well as the main train stations.

try the gordon house suites....nice small hotel very near the international airport...the only problem is that they are right now expanding it so at times there are capital repairs..another option near the international airport is a hotel called VITS
