Botanical Gardens are stunning...nd Ushak Marine World...lthough not for the fun park...cold t the moment...

where will you stay? it depends. i dont like doing night life in durban central. but along the beach it is fun. just dont fall for the lady and guy wanting money to get their daughter to the hospital. or get back to joburg. they are shrewd and get many people daily. they really look desperate people feel sorry for them and it is too late when you realize it is gone. visit ushaka, visit the harbour, visit the beaches, go to umchalanga and also ballito. stunning beaches and hey why not take a drive down the south coast! also visit the indian markets and the fish market. now that is a experience

Been there twice...the beach is nice, as is UShaka Marine World (eat by the shark tank in the restaurant in the pirate ship.) But some of the best things to do are outside of Durban...consider a trip up the Sani Pass into Lesotho or a trip to Shakaland to see a replica Zulu village and a fantastic Zulu dance show.
