Because is a difficult answer ill tell you what i have done ... Road Trip all around Croatia :) But ok , if i have to only pic a few places ill say Dubrovnik ofc for the old city , Plitvice Lakes which is a big natural part that is probably the most amazing place i been until today ! A must seen . I also recommend city of Zagrab , because is something totally deferent from the cost , and you can find many interesting things to do ( and eat ... like cheapy )

Hello Dearest, It is my pleasure to contact you for a business venture which I intend to establish in your country. Though I have not met with you before but I believe, one has to risk confiding to someone sometimes to succeed in life. There is this sum amount of Nine Million Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US$9.500,000.00) which my Late Father deposited in the bank before his sudden death. Now I have decided to invest this money in your country or anywhere safe enough outside our country for security and political reasons.I want you to help me claim and retrieve this money from the bank and transfer it into your personal account in your country for investment purposes on these areas: (1.) Telecommunication (2.) The Transport Industry (3). Five Star Hotel, but you still come up with the business you know very well that can give us more profit. I am honourably seeking your assistance in the following ways: (1) To provide a bank account into which this money would be transferred (2) To serve as a guardian of this fund since i am an Orphan (3) To make arrangement for me to come over to your country to further my education and to secure a resident in your country. If you can be of an assistance to me I will be pleased to offer you 15% Of the total fund. Sincerely Yours, lovett ritaloveth@yahoo.com

There are excursions that go to the national parks there. I recommend doing one of those. Also, Zadar is a very nice city!

Besides the answers already mentioned, I will highly recommend one of those sailing cruises offered by Sail Croatia. Most of these "hostels on a boat" depart from Split. There is a Facebook page called Sail Croatia that will give you a good idea of these cruises.

Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Trogir, Sibenik, Plitvice Lakes, Krka national Park. Split combines nice historical center with ugly horrible all around city centre, so it is better to visit only city centre (about 30-60 mins) and go away
