I lived in Zambia for six months. I had my internship there. The people are nice and friendly, they will always greet you. Next to that, lovely national parks, the Victoria Falls and a nice climate. But I liked the culture and the people the most. Next year I will return to find a house and a job in Zambia :)

very nice country. went there to work on the copper mines on vibrator screens, excavators, tippers etc. it was amzing. people so friendly

I lived in Zambia for 12 years, my best memories was fishing at Lake Tanganyika, visit at the great Victoria falls , boat ride on the great Zambesi River at sundown,and for God sake dont miss out on one of the greatest Parks in Africa, Either Luangwa Valley north or south.

Zambia is a great place...very peaceful, not as dodgy as Zimbabwe. Vic Falls is amazing, definitely worth the trip. Take a direct flight from Joburg in South Africa to Livingstone. Also consider taking the Kazangulu ferry to Botswana, that's one of my favorite countries in the area, wild animals roam the streets.
