Perth doesn't have too many 'sights to see' within the city, unless endless suburbia fascinates you. Three days in winter would be enough. Fremantle. The Coast. Perth City/King's Park. Done. If you're there in winter, get a car -or plan bus trips and head 50-400km away to the various Wineries / Jarrah Forests / Seal Watching etc... If you are 'stuck' in the city. Head for local galleries, coffee shops, bars, clubs - the people are friendly!

Margaret river wineries, wave rock, pinnicle desert. The only prob with going in winter is it will be too cold to swim in rottnest island!
