You will have tons of guest house options the second you step off the bus - look before you pay money - but they are all pretty much clean - Jade Johnston | http://www.ouroyster.com

Dear Friend Namaste!!! This is simply to ask about your present activities how’s going life over there. Keeping very busy? Working hard? Or traveling in different parts of the world? Why did you forget us. Our trek season is hampered by Natural disaster like Poland’s air crash, china’s earthquake of qrector & Iceland’s volcanic eruption etc. More tourists may be afraid of sudden or uncertain events; you may have some hesitation to come over Nepal. Because of fling a long journey. Please keep in touch & please take care Thinking you Sincerely Jagat Bdr Tamang North Face Trekking (P) Ltd Email- northfacetrek@ntc.net.np - mail@nfphyafulla.com - Post Box No 25981 -

Siem Reap: I stayed in Mekong Angkor Hotel, with nice swimmingpool for around 30 or 40 dollars p/night. I heard a lot of people telling me good reviews about Smiley's guesthouse (at the back of the hotel I was staying). Very cheap, like 5 dollars p/night, but also very clean and good atmosphere.

I stayed at Earthwalkers in Siem Reap. I don't have any complaints. They're probably one of the best guesthouses there.

siem reap - mandalay inn! friend staff, food was alright, good location and even the owner's daughter (about 5) spoke english! also the gym on the top floor provided some late night amusement :) as i recall for a double it was 8 dollars US per night As fo sikonuville, I suggest the monkey republic. You get a basic hut with a double bed, bathroom (which you flush by putting a hose through the back) but the owners english and the breakfasts there are heartattackingly good! Also it's by the beach!

in Phnom penh at the lakeside try to find "The drunken frog guesthouse" It's somewhere in a back ally a little bit further from Nr9 and Nr10. ask for locals, they now. it's one of the best guesthouses I've been to and the people are really nice!

Most guest houses are for our opinions very cheap. In Cambodia most of them are also clean. Be aware to check the room before you buy it and don't forget to ask for discount. You'll get it with about 20% off. Recommandations: Siem Reap: Hotel Angkoriana (40 USD / room / night) wonderful hotel Phnom Penh: Guesthouses at the riverside (think are more expensive than the ones within the city centre)
