Where do I begin to answer this question? There is so many nice things to see in Iceland. You can do Reykjavik in about 2 days as most of the sights are outside of the city. Here's my list: 1) The Blue Lagoon - you can stop there on your way into Reykjavik from the airport. 2) Hallgrimskirkja Church 3) Try to rent a bike and ride through town. Try to hit Hallgrimskirkja Lighthouse. 4) You hike in Hveragerdi to see the steam rising out of the hills and then take a dip in the hot streams. 5) See Strokkur geyser. 6) The waterfall at Gullfoss - I believe it is one of Europe's widest waterfalls. 7) Seljalandsfoss - You can stand behind the waterfall 8) Hike through Thorsmork. 9) Pingvellir National park - where you can stand between the North American and Eurasian plates. You can see many of these sights as part of a tour (They all pretty much run the same circuit). Or you can also rent a car and do the tour yourself. You are going to love Iceland.

you have to see Askja volcano, Dettifoss waterfall, Herdubreid mountain, Geysir and one of the glaciers :) up to you :)

Don't forget to go horseback riding on real icelandic horses!

If you have time to get out east, see the waterfalls at Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, see the glaciers at Skaftafell National Park, and see the glacier lagoon at Jokulsarlon. Oh -- and if you're renting a car, go with a local company rather than an international chain -- you'll save a LOT.
