I´m searching for a pleasant, centrally located and not too expensive hotel/hostel with double rooms. Does anyone recommend some? :)

Kate's Guesthouse is great is about a 15 minute walk from the city. Very clean and Kate is very welcoming. You can find it on Hostelworld.com

Budget Hostel. Very cheap, quiet, cosy and clean. But not much fun unfortunately. 15min form city centre (walking). I don;t really remmember the exact address.

Hi, I'll be staying in Panorama Central 17/18.11. price is 40 € for double and 30€ for single room - will let you know directly from hotel if it's ok ;)

Backpack King is the friendliest Hostel in a really central part of the city and surrounded by lots of posh Hotels as well. Can't reccomend it enough!

I stayed at Opera Residence which is jusy behind the Budapest Opera.. It is not expensive and the apartment is complete with everything -kitchen, dvd player, internet
