I lived there for 2 years and would be happy to answer any questions, but I wouldn't know where to start now. It's a great place and there is lots to do. Be careful though because you may need a visa depending on where you are from (you don't for Senegal). You also need Yellow Fever vaccination and there is malaria risk year round. You do have to make it out of the capital/coast area. What are you most interested and what kind of travel do you prefer?

I want to go to Gambia since i went to the Canary islands (Spain) you can get a ferry from there, and you don't need no visa or vaccinations at all!
