From Makassar you can go to Bira beach. Verry beautifull place not verry turistic.

what is that supposed to mean - but if in Makassar make sure you go to the worlds biggest indoor theme park - Trans Studio World' what a hoot. Was not much over $10 to get in and was cool with rollercoasters, splash mountain equivalent, 4D movies etc - great way to spend a day
