Question asked in : Las Vegas - 6 years ago

Me and my mom are heading to Vegas in November and have tickets to see Elton John at Caesar's Palace. Does anybody have any suggestions for dinner places to go beforehand? Maybe something new that just opened...

That is a hard question! When we visited, we found that there are so many places to have a great dinner with many including a show also. It really depends on what you like. You can find any type of food you desire. Most of the hotels have several restaurants also. There are also some good places (less grand but less expensive too) away from the "strip". Casa Di Amore has good meals and you could surprise your mum with a limo ride? But make sure that you give yourself plenty of time before the show.

No dinner recommendations but try the $20/$50 sandwich at checking and you'll get a nice room upgrade. We got upgraded to a suite.

Not that far away from Caesars at Paris out front is the bistro called Mon Ami Gabi. Really good food, they have seats outside or inside, the staff is great and as I mentioned, the food was super. That being said, Vegas is one of the cities where you can't go wrong with food most of the time. Have a good time!

I love bikes and had a HUGE hamburger at Harley Davidson's cafè on the strip.

Eat at Carnigie Deli at Mirage (its next casino over)or there is a the Californiw pizza kitchen, do a quick meal so you dont have to worry about not getting to the show on time! Dont bring a camera or any photo stuff, you will have to check it and get it after the show is over and its always a long line to get your stuff back. I saw Celine in that theater. enjoy! Oh in Ceasars there is a great italian place in the shopping area, it is "outdoors" in a large piazza.
