Don't go to Casablanca. It's not so romantic like the Film. Rabat, Meknes, Fes and Marrakkech are my favorite Cities. If do you like shopping, is Marrakech the best. Very great Souks. If you want see the Desert, is Merzouga by Erfoud nice.

Tetouan is pretty cool. It has what you would imagine a Moroccan market to be and the King's palace. It also has millions and billions of cats. I ate fresh figs and sugared fresh almonds there and they were amazing.

depending on how long you're staying...there are so many things to see and do!! my favorite place still is taghazoute in southern marocco - small fishing village just north of agadir, good for surfing! (guess only if you're into it) essouira like peter said is more relaxed than marrakech - and way cheeper! although also quite busy during the day, so my tip: morning and evening shopping! tiznit and the massa nationalpark (southern marroco) are nice stops as well. all in all the south is very nice, plus liked the people more than in the north! a must of course are fes, volubilis, meknes, and marrakech. if you have time also visit casablanca, rabat, and sale. and...if you are travelling around with the train: there is a "desert-train" from oujda to bouarfa - great landscapes! near by figuig, oasis - traditional agriculture!

Marrakech, al-Jadida, Casablanca, and don't drink a lot of fresh orange juice if you don't want to be sick ;), you just have to try snails, fresh fishes, sweet cookies and gray wine.

Like others already said: Marrakech is not to be missed. The main square is truly an amazing sight, especially in the evening. The grand mosque in Casablanca is very large indeed, but in my opinion just a tourist trap.

Check out Marrakesh and Essaouira: very nice medinas in both towns. If you are a kite- or a windsurfer check out Moulay and Sidi-Kaouki (both are ext to Essaouira).

Yeah, Fes (2 days), Marrakesh and day trips from Marrakesh to Essaouira (from the bus station) and the Cascades d'Ouzoud (there are organized trips from travel agencies). In Marrakesh sleep in Hotel Ali!!! And the travel agency is only 50m away.

Ouarzazate is also a fun and beautiful place to visit. Erfoud and Merzouga, the Chebbi Erg are a MUST if you like the desolate landscapes and the sand dunes. Shoppinh is the most fun, but be prepared to bargain. It's a cultural thing! Have fun!
