I was in Kenya June-Aug and the weather was nice. Mornings and evenings were on the cold side and afternoons quite warm, sometimes hot. The safaris there are incredible, you can go trekking, to the beaches, go to Uganda for white water rafting on the Nile... It's a beautiful country and the people are really warm and friendly.

The coast of Kenya gets pretty warm, but because most of kenya is up on the East African Plateau, it rarely gets above maybe 30, except by Lake Victoria or in the FAR north (where you probably will not go, and is cooler near Meru or Mount Elgon. Its a beautiful country.

depends on what you want to do in Kenya. at higher altitudes it will be fine weather.
Otherwise, try the usumbara mountains in the north of Tanzania, it'll be perfect in July

Two totally different countries with different experiences. If you want wildlife - go to Kenya. The parks are always safe and unaffected by any political issues. If you're hanging out in cities, then abide by fabian's comments and make sure things are stable and safe.
