We will visit Thailand , Phuket in november. We have no accomodation. Some people says that we don´t need to book ... Easy to find when we are there ?

I would advise to book ahead. Our flight arrived at 2am and it was still +30C ... u do not want to be wandering around in that heat in the middle of the night when u are jet lagged trying to find a hotel. If anything, at least book your first night :)

Never had any problems just turning up. Always ask to see the room before parting with money and only pay for one or two nights at the beginning. That way if you aren't happy it's easy to move on, refunds can be difficult to get, and you can shop around for a better place after you've settled.

so easy, take a car ride on the beaches there are many condos and private homes, if needed you can book HOTEL on this site http://www.sawadee.co

there is no need to book before...you'll find affordable hotels or hostel easily!

It's more interesting if you don't book in advance (see Igor K. below). Otherwise take a look at hostels.com

It is easy to find acc. on your arrival but you'll end up paying more than if you book ahead! so I'll recommend book ahead! agoda.com or booking.com those website often have great deals

it is very easy to find accomodation upon arrival! But I would suggest that you book in advance..

You should book if You don´t want to pay overprices. At least for some nights November is high season. Check out hotels.com for example
