Philadelphia, is an urban city with great food, culture and history. The history though is scattered around the current layout of the city. The original City Hall is still in use, and has a tour to the observation deck where William Penn stands tall where tri-state area can be seen in 360 panoramic. Edgar Allen Poe and Betsy Ross houses are classic. There's also a tour bus that takes you around the city viewing the huge murals part of the Anti-Graffiti Network project. For exploring, I recommend stay within Center City and use public transportation since parking is impossible/expensive.
