Def do the Port tasting at some of the port caves and try the local food at the rowing club nearby. Catch a boat down the river and explore the little alleyways. Consider surfing lessons (if its not too cold) and maybe try to see an evening of fado (traditional music). The Oporto Poets Hostel was one of the best hostels i've stayed in.
