Dunn's River is a definite, but consider a day tour of the Blue Mountains. It was a beautiful, and unexpectedly enjoyable trip for my husband and I. Learned about coffee making, lunch at a beautiful estate, got us off the beach and into the cool mountain air for one day. Highly recommend it.

we were in mo bay for our honeymoon too 2yrs ago! like everyone says, do dunn's river. for something romantic, u can go on a bamboo rafting ride down the Martha Brae River. We also took a tour to the south coast of Black River (crocs), and YS Falls (u can zipline over the falls!). i also recommend going to Negril for the day. its only 2hrs away, u can rent a cab & driver to take u there, and he'll wait for u all day and take u back. the beaches are so much prettier there! turquiose water and white sand!!! theres good snorkeling there and check out Rick's Cafe where u can try cliff jumping if ur brave enuf or just watch the other crazy ppl! i agree with louise-ann about safety tho. dont go in as naive tourists on a romanitc honeymoon. we had $800 stolen out of our hotel room! and we where in a 5 star. lock ur stuff up in the inroom safe, and never carry more money on u than u think u'll need for that day. dont flash ur money around either when ur paying for stuff. happy honeymooning :)

Don't want to be the one to throw the negative in, BUT, however adventurous you are, watch for the crowds in Mo Bay if you go to the town. You'll blink and you can be mugged in front of your hotel. Just keep your wits about you, and have mugging money/wallet. Take cheap mobile phones. I was airline crew and went to Mo Bay numerous times, and it was not as safe as you'd think. It is fun and can be wild, and some of the locals have great personality and will do almost anything for you, incl be your personal chauffeur for a day or two. Dunnes River is great, a must do :)

I agree...Dunn's River Falls is amazing...it's not everyday you get to "hike" a waterfall. I'd suggest some water shoes (you can get them cheap from target/walmart) as the rocks are slippery

Dunns River Falls - it's a must see. If you go with a group tour guide you can purchase a DVD of your climb up the falls afterwards.
