Make sure you take the Tower Tour at the Liverpool Cathedral. I am scared of heights, but I did it and it was one of the best views I've ever had. Highly recommended! http://www.liverpoolcathedral.org.uk/about/the-tower.aspx

The two main (Roman Catholic and Protestant) Cathedrals (connected by Hope Street!!!), the Beatles Museum and other places where they had stayed/performed like Strawberry Fields, the Maritime Museum, the Lever Buildings with the Lever Birds atop them, the Tate Gallery, the Lady Lever Art Gallery across the Mersey River at Port Sunlight village for the many Pre-Raphaelites and Wedgewood collections.

Albert Dock, Stanley Dock, The Beatles Museum, and Tate Liverpool are a few popular ones, but there are lots of things to see in Liverpool!

the Beatles museum and Mall 1..There are also countless museums leading up to the Liverpool Limestreet station.

go to Crosby. It's seaside with over 100 human size scalpture.

The docks (slavery museum and MerseySide Maritime Museum) White Chapel Street is nice to go shopping, Liverpool One as well. Walking into the city is very pleasant! :-)
