In Brussels, the Grand Place, Mannekin Pi, The Atomiun and the Mini Europe.
In Brugge, the whole city is interesting.
Also great is the city of Dinant with its citadel and a cave called La Marveulleuse.

Brussels has a lot of character. The Mannekin Pis is quite the tourist attraction. I enjoyed The Magritte Gallery. IF you want cheap food, eat at a Waffle Wagon. They are everywhere!

Hi there, if you come to Belgium, offcorse you need to visit Brussels with if possible a trip to the Atonium (Heysel) , if you like castles, you find some around Brussels, like Gaasbeek, Beersel and Meise. You should visit Gent, Brugge, Namur, Oostende, Leuven ...

Brugge is a place you shouldn't miss. Nice down to earth town. Lot's of old buildings to see and good beer and food. The same goes for the uch more cosmopolitan Antwerp. Have fun

if you're going to Brussels: go to the chocolate museum, the BD centre. If you like the alternative music scene, i'd recommend Madame Moustache

Brugge= most historical city of Belgium, a must-see. Brussels= most underestimated city of Belgium, has lot's to offer: central Market, Atomium (and the Japanese tower if you drive into the forest from there), lot's of great bars (example: Bizon, close to the Rue de Dansaert) and restaurants, the artdeco buildings of Horta and the Music instrument museum (called Old England, close to the central station) and the green area's are pretty cool too. If you want to experience some Brussels atmosphere, ask for 'de Marollen' (a cosy , neighbourhood, different than the typical city attitude, great food and antique)
Antwerp: shopping city, with the 4th most beautiful train station in (at least) Europe, a MUST SEE, between the zoo and the Meir (main street) The area of de 'Kaai' next to de Schelde (de river) is cool too: nice shops and bars. And the pedestrian tunnel under de Schelde is worth seeing too (and free); in dutch: voetgangerstunnel. Finally: the cathedral is the most beautiful of Belgium.
Last city but my favorite: Gent: huuuge amount of bars for such a small city (eg. Pink Flamingo's (trendy), Hotsy Totsy (jazzy), Trollenkelder (300 kinds of beer) and Charlatan (going out; @ Vlasmarkt) Gravensteen is a cool castle, where Patershol starts (old and cosy neighbourhood with good food) and het 'Groentenmarktje' with some back-in-time shops, close to de Korenmarkt)
Nature: de Ardennen (hoge venen; stavelot, Botrange,...)
Historical cities in Wallonië (french speaking part): Durbuy, Dinant and Bouillon. All three have amazing castles in a beautifel environment! Bouillon is my favorite.
Enjoy!

Spend more time in Brugge than in Brussels, but Brussels is definitely worth checking out. Brugge has a really cool brewery tour and is just plain beautiful!
Gent also has a big castle on the canal to visit which was really awesome.

Gent and Oostend were two of my favorite places when I visited. Gent was a small-ish city that was peaceful and great for strolls around the canals. Oostend was good for seafood and the ocean. Both cities may be worth a day or two but probably no more than that.

As a Belgian, i would say Brussels has many great place, but Liège is a really specific city, you've got to see it!
Thuin is a great place too, less known, but great ause of its infrastructure, with its "terrasses", it almost look like some parts of Italy or like the Middle Ages!
You should go in the "Ardennes" too!
I think Brugge is not that wonderful, but, well it's just my point of view ;)

You should definitely go to Antwerp! It is a very lively city. One of the biggest ports of Europe is situated there, so there is a thriving economic scene. There are a lot of different universities and institutions of higher education, which means a lot of different smaller student pubs. There is also a very thriving cultural scene with many playhouses and theaters scatter throughout the city. And a lot of shops, with the most shops centered in and around one single shopping street where there is no traffic allowed during the day. Just awesome!

Ghent, for sure and then Brugge. Don't go to Antwerpen, and Brussels can be visited in very few days.
