What dive spots do you recommend in Egypt?

Dahab!!! From there you can go by camel or boat to Ras Abu Galum, it's beautiful there. Although, most divespots in and around Dahab are gorgeous...

I would say Red Sea area like Dahab, Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh :) Haven't been there yet but heard from friends its the best place to go diving!

Not necessarily the world's best, but Alexandria has some dive shops that offer excursions. The big selling point for me was the dive centered around exploring the possible site where the Lighthouse of Alexandria was. So if you are in to the ancient wonders...

& if your already in Sini why not pop over to eilat? Nice nature reserve there called coral beach 30NIS entry fee. (about £5)

I'll agree with Stephane on that one - Ras Mohammed is renowned for being one of the best diving spots in the world.

Dahab, Dahab, Dahab, Dahab! Was supposed to stay only 2 days, which (unsuprisingly) turned into much longer, then I left and came back. There is a place called the Blue Hole but many other options. http://www.dahab-info.com/diving/divingspots/index.html
