Cann't help here. I was there in November, was good time. Before hiking around visit local small museum and read about local culture than you will be prepared to see much more around. It is really an archeological site if you properly look at things around you. Also for me as for emvironmentalist this island is a great experience in terms what humans could do to their environment

there are few small places to stay which I may recommned instead of key hotels. I spent there 5 days and it was for sure not enought, although I made around the entire island walking. But depends on what you like, if you are a kind of ready to walk all the day around the island than stay about a week. Many many things to see right around your foot if you properly look. But if just get some flavour of remote island with exotic culture than you will do all in 2 days. Enjoy, AS
