I love Bern. Einstein’s House, a coffee by the river, a visit to the old town, the bear park and gurten.

I traveled to Switzerland recently, and I found Bern to be the most beautiful place (in terms of a mix of architecture and nature). Adding to the places already mentioned here, you can also visit the cathedral in Bern while taking a walk in the city. You wont miss a lot of beautiful fountains and Clock Towers while you walk. And last but not the least... You can take a trip to Interlaken or Zeismann and catch the Golden Pass Trains from there. (A tip: Get a Eurorail Pass if you want to travel between cities in Switzerland)

Bern is also the capital of switzerland, so there is alot of government things to take tours of. It is very pretty and close to many little cities around the area, so you could explore the region.

if you're interested in architecture, bern is beautiful... but there are a lot of attractions like the new bearpark, the "heiliggeist Church", the house of parlament, and much more of historic buildings. there are a lot of possibility to go shopping!

Bern has a beautiful railway station, from where you can take a train to Paris.
