Hi Katri, a boat is the only way to go. The Komodo Dragons are also most easily visible in the morning hours before it gets too hot, so be sure to head there early. A tip I got from a good friend who has been was that they actually saw more Dragons and enjoyed them more un Rinca Island instead of Komodo Island. You may want to consider a fun multi-day cruise of various islands!

On a phinisi boat - slowly. If you like diving try to get a specialist diving tour, otherwise any one will do - bargain like crazy you can knock 50% off the price.

There are several companies that do these multi-day trips. If you get a good group, it's probably your best way to go. Then you can take another back, or ake the trip all the way to Flores and fly back to Lombok. I've heard the same about Rinca being better than Komodo for sightings.

get a boat trip but make sure they will take you back to the place you wont to go back too
