holy molly-i lived in kenya for 2.5 years if u want a really nice safari u never find it cheap.for with peanuts u can pay monkeys special if u wanna c the big 5 is much better to spend some more money and at the end u r happy enjoy ur trip :-)

Hi. I think you'll find that Kumuka Tours will do a very well priced Safari (a lot less & up to 1/2 the cost of some other companies). Kumuka is world reknowned & a very good company to travel with. The best time of year to travel would be between June to October. This is the dry season. May to September is also Winter in Kenya, so isn't too hot. Now when I say winter, this refers to 30 - 35 degree celcius temperatures... not anything cold! So these months are dry & very warm. If you travel in other months, although they can be cheaper, you will either get really heavy rainfall or scorching temperatures. have fun over there!! It's an amazing country. If you can try & include Zanzibar in your trip. A lot of companies include it anyway, but it's pretty cool.
