Mopti Questions

What is the most efficient way to get from Bamako to Bandiagara? Should we fly to Mopti and then drive or drive all the way or something else? We only have a few days, unfortunately.

Tha faster way is toi fly, the cheap one is by bus, the most confortable is with a car

we did it by hired car from bamako,takes you 5-6 hoursto bandigara,visit Djenne!!!,and than we flew from mopti to Timbuktu...all in 4days and than back to bamako by plane also run out of time,car cost you with driver 200 dollars per day!

I think the faster way is a flight to Mopti. Then there is lot of "taxi brousse" which make Mopti-Bandiagara (about one hour and a half). You can also take a Bamako-Mopti bus and stop in Sevare. It is ten km before Mopti. And then take a taxi brousse. Do not pay the taxi brousse to Bandiagara more than 1500 FCFA. But in this place the prices are generally fixed. Enjoy your trip !
