Dublin is really nice, and you can get the trains or even the Luas to the towns around, really worth it.

Dublin will give you the most bang for your buck. But I loved the cliffs of Moher and driving through the Burren. I also really enjoyed Limerick...which surprised me!

Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry - particularly the western part. Derrydane Beach is spectacular. And the Gap of Dunloe was well worth the hike.
I haven't been up nprth though so I can't compare to other areas.

I personally love the West and North-West of Ireland. Galway is a favourite of mine because Connemara gives you such a peaceful break but Galway city is so fun and different.
