You could go to Waiheke Island on the ferry and visit some wineries or go north to Paihia or got to the Coromandel Peninsula. It is better to get out of Auckland and explore the surrounding countryside.

Roturua is a nice place to know about Maori culture. Stay 1 day to see around in Auckland. And then you can go to Coromandel Peninsula.

There are many great islands in Auckland harbour that are very easy to get to. if you enjoy hiking, then Rangitoto is a MUST. Also Waiheke island is amazing and full of vinyards and beautiful beaches. If you are into snorkelling or scuba diving you can head to Goat Island Marine Reserve which is about an hours drive north of Auckland. If you have a car, you should visit Hunua Falls, about 50 km south of Auckland.

Rangitoto Island - it's mean!! You can get a ferry there, from town.

Definitely Sky Towe and you should try sky jump or sky walk or both. I am not so sure about Parnell,however you probably will see it because most of the accomodation places are located there. Museum definitely and underworld. If you want to get cheep cusines there is a food place on the bottom of Albert street. Chines, asian this sort of staff.

For 3 days in Auckland I'd suggest you: 1. Take a day trip with Potiki Adventures and get an inside, Maori perspective on Auckland 2. Take a trip to Waiheke Island and lunch at a vineyard 3. Take a sailing excursion on the harbour

In your first day you should see the city center and Albert Park, Auckland domain and mt. Eden. During your second I suggest you to rent a car and go to Piha beach and Karekare, they are very close to the city (40min) but amazing. During your third day you should go Tiritiri Matangi and after some shopping in Parnell rd and enjoy the night in Ponsobby rd. For me this is the best you can do in Auckland for three days!
