What's a good hotel to stay at in Berlin?

I've been in the A&O near the Zoologischer Garten. It is clean and cheap, but due to its localization, from my room I could listan all night long the announcements from the train station!

Motel One... one is located at Alexander Platz so directly in the City and the other one next to Germanys most beautiful Musical Theatre near the Zoologischen Garten. Both are located in the City and you find everything nearby. Its not that expensive and has a really nice style !

Well a expensive but a great one is The Westin Grand. It's perfect but expensive.

Hotel Morgenland in south Berlin - one of the cheapiest: http://www.hotel-morgenland.de/ I slept there - not so luxurious, but nice and clean.

Express by holiday inn Berlin City Centre near Postdammer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. Good Rooms and breakfast incluided in the fare. There is a supermarket in front of the hotel. Underground Möckernbrücke S-Bahn Anhalter

For a very good standard at a reasonable price try 3 star Lindner AM Kudamm Berlin, its also in a excellent location

Berlin is consider one of inexpensive place to stay. But if you come with more than 2 people, I would suggest to rent a flat for minimum 3 days. Far much cheaper.

For a less expensive stay, check out the Hotel-Pension Bregenz. Good location, clean and spacious rooms, tasty breakfast buffet and a personal service are the trademarks of this hotel.

If you want a hostel the circus is very good. its basically a hotel.

I slept at the Berlin Excelsior Hotel, it's a four star hotel only 5 min walking too the zoo, the sightseeing spots and the bars and restaurants (Price 150 euro, 180 dollar a night).
