We did a four day cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan which was a part of the eight day package all over Egypt so we did not have to pay separately for the cruise.

The better thing is to enter in the page of a good agency of travels in your country and to reserve.

If you are over 50 I can thoroughly recommend Saga's Land of the Pharohs tour which includes sailing up the Nile from Aswan to Luxor.

Excellent local agent is NTS National Travel Service. Try to connect with them. Their main office is in Cairo.

We had booked through a local travel company called Flash Tours and went on the Cheops III which is an Arabesque cruise ship with lovely wooden decorations all over the ship. It is a five star ship and the food is lovely especially since they also have an Indian food menu for Indians although I did not eat much of it preferring to have the local Egyptian and continental food that we don't get much in India!!! We did a four day cruise on the Nile from Luxor to Aswan which was a part of the eight day package all over Egypt so we did not have to pay separately for the cruise. It was well worth the price we paid for in Indian currency.

I went on a Nile cruise on a felucca with GAP Adventures with my father in 2007 and we both had a great time! The feluccas were a great way to experience the Nile, and the scenery was incredible from this vantage point. It's something worth looking into if that kind of trip interests you.

I don't know the websites, but I always recommend people travelling to Egypt/Nile to take the Felukka instead of a Nile cruise..It's way more relaxing and the people are really nice and they can prepare some lovely meals..The cruise boats are really for the tourists and it's a whole other experience than the Felukka..Try google it :)
