There is a La Quinta near the air port and they have an excellent etouffee in their restaurant mmm i miss New Orleans, I can't remember if there was a Buba Gumps in downtown New Orleans, their etouffee is good to. It really depends if you feel adventurous stop at any hole in the wall restaurant and you wont be disappointed. Or if you want something more on the commercial side just go to the french quarters! hope this helps

Deenie's in the French Quarters - its casual, fun environment, fair prices, big portions, and GREAT food!

I second the House of Blues. Good music to boot and a great bowl of crawfish etouffee fresh from the farmer's market.

Down in the French Quarter at the Bubba Gump shrimp company, or right on bourbon street in the middle of the strip between the rainbow flags and the hedonistic side.

I don't know about New Orleans but you have to go to the Crawfish House is Atchafalaya (not sure if that is spelled correctly) Try the crawfish fritters, they are amazing!
