Where is the best place to go whitewater rafting in Peru and which companies are best? I will be there in November.

Don't know the name of the river but there's a company in Cusco called Mayuc (at the big plaza across from the InkaTeam) that does a 3 day rafting trip. 6 of my friends went with them and said they are the best in safety and food!

Urubamba river is really fantastic! It is close to Cusco, so you can go in a day-trip. Many travel agencies are doing in there, by that prices are low.

Urubamba river...very tough rapid river. and thousands of meter over sea level

I went in Arequipa, and it was pretty good... Not sure the name of the company no.
