Every body talks and have different preferences, which is normal. Nobody knows what you are expecting for?!... but still... If you have money and if you like high standards but being "lost and forgotten", than go to Playa Grande in Dominican Republic (it is not for everybody and sometimes you need recommendation). If you want to break monotony, 60 miles around, you can have absolutely every kind of experience - the north coast it is small world atlas itself. At more affordable prices (but not quiet cheap) you have Caliente Caribe Resort - 5' by car driving - near Cabrera.

British Virgin Islands because I live here! But I have traveled most of the Caribbean and still choose the BVI. It is prosperous, friendly, and gorgeous with a low population and little crime. Lots of things to do and see. Many islands, many lovely beaches and great sailing

My all time favorite is St Barths. It's small, it's french, has good atmosphere to sit back and relax. And diving is great!

Greneda was one of the most beautiful islands I've ever seen in the Carribean. Remote. Great snorking! It's the Spice Island - you can smell the beautiful spices as soon as you walk the streets. Second place - Grand Caymen, small but easy to get around. Great snorking! Want good shopping - go to St. Thomas. Want beautiful, plush island - go to Jamaica (expect the locals to push you for purchases) Want an upgrade... Go to HAWAII!!

Antigua... a beach for every day of the year. Beautiful year round! Half Moon Bay for waves, Jabberwock for tourism, or Jungle beach for beauty and privacy!

Bocas del Torro, Panama. It's affordable, and there are tons of activities to enjoy. A really small chain of islands with long white sandy beaches and green water. Snorkeling and surfing galore.

Antigua - English Colony - 365 beaches, one for every day of the year. Sparkling clear water. We took a southern Caribean cruise and this was the best spot - I would go back in a heartbeat for an extended stay.
