I lived in Crete for a year, if you want to know something about the island or nice places to go let me know. Rethymnon is a nice spot, beach, old town and lots of restos and bars, ...

Hey, if you re a bit of a party animal but want to see great beaches and have some quality fun time you MUST look out for Zante, Laganas. You WILL NOT regret this!

I loved Santorini, but I thought Poros, Aegina and Hydra were fun too (they are all easy to reach from Athens).

I would say Rhodes and Santorini are the best followed by Mykonos and Patmos. Crete is not worth getting off the boat.

Depends on what you are looking for .. nightlife? Mykonsos, Santorini, Paros. Beauty and great beaches? Samos, Patmos, Crete. Historical ruins? Santorini, Crete, Rhodes. Quick trip from Athens? Hydra is great.

it depends on what you 're looking for, and of course the season... crete is a very big island, with 4 big cities on it, so... it 's not actually considered as a "greek island" there are some islands close to athens' port (less than 5 hours on a boat) that are great for vacation... paros, naxos, sifnos, santorini & mykonos are crowded even on wintertime i however, would recomend you to visit some of the smallest islands like folegandros, nisiros or anafi, especially during the summer... what can i say... there's thousands of islands... and it's your call... enjoy!!!

If you go to Crete, then stay in the Hotel Stella, in Agia Gallini. It overlooks the beautiful village on the south side of the island. nice night life too. It's best to rent a car in Crete. There's lots to see.

Crete, it's the largest and has lots of places to go to. Travel around the isl with rental car. Don't stay in one hotel it will limit your movement around the isl. You can find lots of places to stay even in the high season. Have fun

Santorini is amazing! Great views ;) My other favorites are Mykonos & Rhodos - definitely worth a visit!

for couples: santorini! fantastic, romantic hotels (eg: homeric poems), great restaurants, exclusive shopping, romantic cities, incredible sunsets! rent a motorbike (not a car!!!) to get around! beaches are ok, but not really that good.

Mykonos, there's alot going on places to hang out, beach parties ect. Santorini, its beautiful!!
