Question asked in : Guam - 2 years ago

Would someone be able to tell me about the weather? What are the risks of booking a trip from July 24th to August 1st? Thanks in advance!! I really want to come here, but am nervous about 2 scary word/phrases: Rainy Season and Typhoons!

Wish I saw this sooner! I'm from Guam. Typhoons don't happen that often. Rainy season just means in the morning it could rain, and in the afternoon, you get sunshine like it never rained at all. Doesn't stop 1 million tourists a year.

Well, to answer my own question: It was barely rainy at all. It rained MAYBE 30-60 minutes per day, and in 8 days, we only got caught once without an umbrella. We just laughed it off and jumped in the ocean when it cleared up! Thanks for all the answers!!

I guess it depends on where you're going. Here in Australia it's been very rainy the last 2 weeks, but it use to be sunny. I should remind you of that it's winter season now, you it'll be like 17 as highest, maybe around 20 in August.

I was in NZ in October until december. There was still a lot of rain in october. So I would say there is risk, I mean it's still winter than. But also with the rain it's just a beautyfuel country.
