Yes but I agree with Vicky that they should not be kept for the amusement of tourists.

I'd love to swim where wild dolphins are, but petting them in an enclosed area doesn't seem like fun for either me or the dolphins.

I have done it previously but would not do it again, even though the Dolphins were free to be in the Ocean. Same goes for other activities like riding an Elephant. If the dolphins want to swim with me...then that is cool ; )

You can live a similar experience in Shark Bay, Western Australia, where every morning dolphins come to the beach and spend a couple of hours swimming very near to edge.
