The Cherchell Museum contains Roman and Greek artifacts that were found around the city. Cherchell was a Carthaginian town dating back to the 4th century BC, and was later captured by the Romans several centuries later.

Some of the artifacts on display include marble sculptures, decorated drinking vessels, Byzantine silver work, and mosaics.
