Built around four centuries ago, it is located on the highest place in front of the sea not far away from the heart of Angola's capital, Luanda. Some pieces of equipment from the colonial war and civil war can be found here, including aircraft. But what really rocks here is the view over Luanda, its bay, downtown and the island. It is, like some other places, totally overwhelming. A must when passing by Luanda, specially for all those who like history to be at a place that has some much of it. Portuguese and dutch took control of this fortress which was built by the portuguese.
