Calle Florida is a great place to stay if you are in Buenos Aires. It's full with department stores, restaurants, cafés and also with local people, local culture, music. It goes as far as vPlaza de Mayo, where you can spot the Casa Rosada and the Obelisco. There are also great shopping centers with a bunch of other stores. When talking about food, don't forget to try the "Bife de Chorizo" for a great lunch and the "Empanadas" for a good snack. Also the popular "Alfajores" make a good desert.

É a rua de pedestres mais característica pela variadade de lojas e de productos maiormente considerados pelo turista, como couros, calçado e peles argentinas . Recomendavel visitar desde a Praça San Martin o Avda Sta Fé até a Av Cordoba.

We had to visit this street twice in order to understand how fun it was.Nice leather shops and a lot of street vendors.A good atmosphere for tourists.

One of Buenos Aires great shopping streets. There are many hotels and hostels nearby, so a good place to stay
