Plaza San Martín has a number of neat things... It is home to the statue of San Martín El Libertador, a giant "gomero" tree that is soooo big, many of its branches are propped up with crutches and a dog park. If you watch the dog park long enough, you will see the professional dog walkers arrive to give their dog charges (usually no less than 10 at a time) some exercise in the park. On Sunday mornings, the park seems to be filled with artists. Very peaceful!

It´s my favorite Square in Buenos Aires!! I love Plaza San Martin. Here you could see old trees, a monument to the argentinian hero "General San Martin"; and also a Memorial to the soldiers who fought in Islas Malvinas (Falklands) during the war against the British (and colonialist) empire, UK.

A cool square in downtown Buenos Aires! YOu can chill at in the shade of some beautiful old treas and check out the San Martin statue and other sculptures in the square. Nice place to sit on the bench on a hot afternoon reading or people watching

It's a very nice plaza, like many other is Buenos Aires. It's located in the city centre, near the famous pedestrian street "Florida" and Retiro, which is where you can find the main bus station and take a bus to go anywhere in the country.

A beautiful plaza just across the street from the Retiro Train station. Sit down for a while to get away from the city madness, and enjoy the beautiful pink flowers of the Palo Borrachos (if they are in bloom)
