The hike starts rough for the first hour, then flattens for another 2 and then the last part is fairly steep. At the top, you have a great view on thee Lago de los Tres and the Fitz Roy. There are 2 lakes to look at. The little lunch on the lake side can be very rewarding. The hike down takes another 4 hours but you can make it in time for the last bus to El Calafate (8:30, 12:30 and 18:30). Jan 19, 2009 It's one of the most beautiful sceneries that i have seen in Argentinean Patagonia. You can get there from El Chalten in about 3 or 4 hours. The last 500 metres can be tiring but it worths the effort. Jul 18, 2009 The most beautiful place to trek! Though it's a bit difficult to get, because of the weather and effort!!
