Garganta del Diablo
About Garganta del Diablo
This waterfall is awesome - it makes Niagara Falls look lame - I think a famous first-lady actually said that once. Definitely put it on your to-do list for South America.

Nov 15, 2008 The "Devil's Throat" is the largest of all the falls the Cataratas de Iguazú and the one that straddles Argentina and Brazil. I have only experienced it from the Argentine side, but the walkway out to these falls is full of tropical flora and fauna... hundreds of butterflies, birds, fish, caimans, etc. The upper echelons of the Río Iguazú is surprizing calm just before the waters spill over the tumultuous "Devil's Throat". Jun 6, 2009 Amazing place where, even if you have already seen documentary or pictures, you'll still be surprised and short-breath-taken :-) Also have to go on the boat to get to the tri-frontier on the river, where Brazil, Paraguay Argentina cross. Once in a lifetime experience, but it has to be done!! Aug 27, 2008 One of the best waterfalls around the world. Stay as closest to the waterfall as you can to feel the power of nature.
