The Blue Mosque is the only remaining mosque in Yerevan, although it is not used for religious services. It is Persian style with lots of intricate tile. We arrived just in time as the mosque was closing for the day; we were lucky and just caught one of the caretakers as she was leaving. She offered to show us around and told us about its history. Iran was sponsoring the ongoing renovation of the mosque complex.

The largest mosque of Yerevan and only one still preserved. It's really nice, but I saw much nicer anywhere else in the world.
