In my opinion Old Parliament House is much more interesting than the current Parliament House, not as architecturally impressive perhaps but much more informative. You can wander the halls, visit the temporary exhibits or discover more about Australian politics, including the ever popular dismissal but my favourite thing to do is to spend hours wandering through the National Portrait Gallery which is housed here and contains a number of past Archibald prize winning paintings.

A very nice and interesting museum, that explains all about Australian Politics and history. They have nice old rooms to visit but also nice new exhibits with touch screens and that kind of fun
