One of my favorite places on the east coast of Australia. Great place to hang out and meet people from all over the world. It gets busy in season but still - very nice! I stayed one week at the backpackers at the beach, closest place to the beach.

Byron's a hip little town, with a bustling night life. Now with the introduction of countless large festivals it seems Byron never really has a down period. Try to avoid public holidays or school holidays and you'll be in heaven.

great place, no buildings more than 6 storeys high not commercialised can do many kinds of activities, include horseriding, gliding, sailing, surfing, swimming etc most easterly point of australia worth the drive up from sydney.

Great beach place - used to be a hippie hangout in the 1970s but with the property boom in the 1990s, many have turned into hippie-yuppie millionaires.
